2011 Japanese Lantern Lighting Festival
This year, the fest will be on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at the Conservatory in Como Park. The festival includes Japanese music, food, dance, demonstrations such as origami, martial arts, handwriting, bonsai, etc. and culminates with the lanterns. Some people dress up in traditional Japanese attire or cosplay.  All the deets
